PCBC, one of the nation’s top homebuilding trade shows and conferences, this year will once again do what it does best: address the issues that builders want to know about and give them insights, ideas and solutions.

Registration for PCBC® 2007, which will be held May 29-June 1 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center, is scheduled to open in mid-January. Homebuilders, trade contractors, architects and other homebuilding industry professionals may register online at www.pcbc.com. And while you’re there, remember to book your hotel room, as reservations go quickly.

With the super-heated housing market a thing of the past, the theme of this year’s Show: “The New Basics,” challenges us to rethink the fundamentals of business basics for today’s changing market. The New Basics will be woven throughout the four-day event, providing attendees with a fresh perspective and new solutions for thriving in the changing marketplace.

“There are great opportunities to be had in this more challenging market, and our goal this year is to help builders explore creative solutions and uncover unique strategies for navigating the hurdles of today’s market,” said Linda Baysari, PCBC’s Senior Vice President of Meetings and Conventions.

“While your competitors are offering the same basic incentives or trying to cut corners, our educational programs and speakers will be designed to get you thinking about how you can find new and more profitable ways of doing business.”

PCBC this year will offer more than 75 dynamic, thought provoking keynotes, seminars and workshops led by some of the brightest minds in business, media, literature and entertainment. Past speakers include Francis Ford Coppola, Steve Wynn, Jim Collins, Bill O’Reilly, Malcolm Gladwell and Seth Godin.

PCBC® 2007 also will once again host the Multifamily Trends Conference, cosponsored with the Urban Land Institute, and a green building conference launched last year that is rapidly becoming a must-attend session for builders, architects, planners and other professionals interested in this growing segment of the marketplace.

And more than 650 exhibitors will fill all three halls of the Moscone Center with the latest products and services designed to help builders build and sell homes more profitably.
