There is practically no end to color selections for granite countertops. No matter what your kitchen colors or appliance colors, you can find colors that fit your granite countertop color desires.  Granite countertop colors and patterns are available in very even, almost solid colors of granite or they can vary dramatically with swirling colors, embedded crystals and wild patterns. The trend this   year, according to Slabco Marble and Granite, (706-213-1255) is the Juparana Series of granite countertops with deep swirling patterns and colors in dark to golden brown shades.

Most of the granite that is used for granite countertops comes from South America and Italy. You can find less expensive granite countertop sources in China and India, but the granite coming from these countries can not compare to the beauty of the granite countertops slabs from Briazil.

Let us look at some of the popular Juparana series to get an idea of what I am talking about.

The grain of these granite countertop slabs range from Juparana Dream which is very dark, almost black color to the very light brown Juparana Classico. In between these are some really beautiful colors of Juparana Bordeaux with a reddish tint, and the Juparana Cappuchino with a bright gold color with swirling dark accents. The fantastic Juparana Papyros looks like the granite version of beautiful walnut. This particular piece of Juparana Papyros came from Slabco’s premium hand-selected “Taste of Brazil” granite slabs imported from Brazil.  These colors fit very well with the black and stainless steel kitchen appliances so popular today.

You will have to ask granite fabricators about these colors because you will not find them at Home Depot or Lowes Home Stores.  They tend to cost a little more but not that much more that standard colors that look very ordinary.  For the wow factor, look at the Juparana series of granite.
