Syndecrete Syndecrete is a natural, sustainable, cement-based composite with half the weight and twice the compressive strength of standard concrete. It is more resistant to chipping and cracking than conventional concrete, tile or stone, and has workability more akin to wood than cement-based products. Its integral pigmentation and added aggregates combine to create distinctive color and texture palettes. Syndecrete is offered in:
Pre-cast 30”x 96” by 1 1/2” thick slabs. 12”x12” tiles with 3/4” thickness. 18”x18” with 1” thickness. 24”x24” with 1 1/2” thickness. Syndecrete can be used for a variety of interior and exterior applications – kitchen and bath tiling, counter tops, floor tiles, and even pre-cast sinks. Syndecrete contributes a minimum of 2, and up to 8, LEED certification points in the following categories: Energy and Atmosphere (EA), Materials and Resources (MR), Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) and Innovation and Design Process (I&DP). Syndecrete also meets all ASTM requirements.
