History Of Neiswander Baptist Church Neiswander Baptist Church was organized in August, 1939. The Church had services in the Community Building on the second and fourth Sundays of the month until the present building was built in 1947. The Church was named for the Neiswander Family, because they donated the land where the Community Building was located and Neiswander first held Church services.  The present building is on land donated by Poinsett Farms, Inc., from a parcel of land belonging to Ruth and Sloan Dailey.  The first pastor was Bro. Carl Appling. Church membership was 84 in 1940. Our present pastor is Rev. Phillip Rodgers. Church membership is 102.  The Lord has richly blessed Neiswander Baptist Church through the years. It has served the community well. We as members of Neiswander are proud of our Church and are ready to help anytime there is a need. Our prayer is that God will continue to bless our Church.
